I know this should be in Breeding but just wondered if anyone has heard of a stallion called Into the West? If so, what breed is it and is it a competition horse?

I have a foal by this stallion. My mare is tb x. Shes a bit hot but the stallion is so quiet. It has passed on to my colt foal, hes so quiet and easy to handle, lovely temperment. Really nice movement to him. Had many offers from breeders because he has such nice features but im not selling, he is mine to event when hes old enough. I know 3 people with foals from this stallion, 4yo's and 2yo's, all are quiet, nice movement and really smart foals, which always helps when buying breaking selling.!

I didn't realise he was still alive! Where does he stand now? My dear departed Aus was by him, and I'd love to know where he is, and find out a bit more about him!

Hi

I use to know him, he was owned by the Hanleys in the west of Ireland. He was a showjumper. I think he was about Grade C. He probably still is owned by them.
