Anyone here own French Bulldog/s???

I am just about to put a deposit down on a Frenchie pup born yesterday
He is a fawn. Parents are both KC Reg and have excellent bloodlines, the COI is within the breed average and both parents have had the relevant breed health tests.
Sooo I'm just looking for others you own or who have owned them to find out as much info as possible. I have obviously thoroughly researched but would love to hear more

Because you refered to "excellent bloodlines" but a low COI which suggests an outcross. Unless the parents are actively shown I would be very wary as Frenchies are a current in-fashion breed and there are a lot of poor quality ones being bred from. A stud book number denotes a dog tht has won or been placed at a decent level rather than the ubiquitious kennel club number for which they only have to have registered parents.

Got you. Its not a low COI...I said it's within the breed average...if I'm making sense??

Can't be "within the breed average" as that is one figure and if calculated using the KC database will be wrong if there are any imports within 5 generations. (KC counts overseas dogs at zero)
