Anyone hunt with Duke of Beauforts?

I have sent off an application for a grooms position with a couple who hunt with the Beaufort, before I go and waste a tank of petrol getting there and a wasted day, please can you Pm me as I dont want to jump in with 2 feet, the man seemed ok but reading between the lines has had loads of grooms in a very short space of time. Obviousley dont want to post his name on a forum, but please PM me and I will tell you their name, any info would be greatfully received. I know people in our hunt that go through grooms like water and would not reccomend to my worst enemy,to work for, but these people are hours away from me, so would be like going in blind.

I would only remember 'older' subscribers to the Beaufort - but don't let the fact they've been through a few grooms (or more) put you off! Any DECENT hunt groom in the Beaufort country is likely to be lured away by a better offer quite quickly - doesn't mean they're poor employers - just that good hunt grooms are in short supply and very sought after! (And if they turn out to be ghastly, chances are you'd pick up another job in the Beaufort VERY quickly!)

Having indeed taken enough trouble to find out what the OP needs to know, there has been no response or thanks for doing sbviously NOT the right sort for this very decent couple!
