Yes, I am from Sidmouth in Devon. I have been away for a while working abroad. Will return Aug next year. There are plenty of horse trials/eventing days in the area. If you look on the British Eventing web page you will get a better idea.

I am from Somerset but close to Devon - there are some very good RC which hold some really good events at BE places such as Bicton, Blackdown and Nutwell Court. I think Winkleigh also runs unaff stuff as well. The PC in the area also have some good courses such as Tiverton which are usually open to RC members.
BE courses would include the above and Hatherleigh. Pontispool and Stockland Lovell though in Somerset are easy to travel to.

I'm from Devon as well. although I don't BE there are a fair few BE events within 60-90mins drive. Bicton, Blackdown Hills, Stockland Lovell, Pontispool, Nutwell Court, Winkleigh and then several other courses that run unaffiliated ODEs and HTs

BSJA wise there is Poltimore (Exeter EC), Pontispool in summer, the Hand, Coombe Park, Red Post, Tall Trees, Badgeworth, Bicton all within 2 hours (most 90mins) and there are loads of unaffiliated venues depending on level.

Dressage again lots at unaffiliated not so much affiliated but between hand, Exeter EC, Badgeworth, Wellbeck, Talltrees, Devon residents are catered enough at up to Medium level. With the Hand and Tall Trees the only ones regulary running classes above that level (I think as not done any affiliated in ages)
