Anyone in Kent area want to XC/hunt my girly???

why dont you try a beginners mock hunt at warlingham ?? (www.wdhc.org.uk) there one on sunday and the last one of the season in march. ALL jumps are optional, there are some from 2ft3 up to 2ft6 and some slightly bigger ones up to 3ft. but you dont have to jump anything you dont want. they are great and warren barn is a fantastic venue, with a lovely water jump which can either me jumped into and out of, or trotted down a slope into and pop out about 2ft the other side. they are great for your confidence, they have done for me anyway. i was going to go on sunday but it appears my pony is now broken again so she is on box rest feeling sorry for herself and her puffy legx

Do you want to take my girly? hehe

I wish he looked after me as well!!!

If anyone doesnt mind me and big fat white beast coming along that would be great we need some xc training.

Ditto altho mine is a short chesnut beast. maybe all the kent bods could group together and hire out a course?? could be fun

i really want to get over to chilham and have a mosey round their course, the pics on their website look as tho its a very proffesional course. they have a hunter trial there in may x

p.s. south east bods there are Hunter trials on the 1st april at speedgate farm and 8th april at warren barn farm is anyone going to give them a go??

i dont fancy my chances doing too well in singles but would be good for the experience and too boost little legs self confidence. but am hoping to tear round the pairs at speedgate behind the big fat white beasty!

The Wye ride is on 1st April so if I'm able to ride I will be doing that.I haven't missed it yet in the last 4 years.Where is Warren barn farm? I'm guessing its probably miles away from me.Thats the drawback of being right on the Kent coast.Everything is miles away.I would definitely be up for Chilham park though.

I'm about 10 minutes away from Limes Farm out near Hythe in Kent. Carshalton is part of Sutton in Surrey.I often drive out to Croydon as my job takes me that way at times but I would guess that Warlingham is nearer to Sutton than Croydon.

Well it seems that Chilham is probably the most central for us all. I know it is about 1 hour away from me, straight down the A and M2.

So let's all now hope for some really great weather so we can get out in March. Perhaps all from north Kent could get transport together if they don't have their own? I know someone who has a 6 and 9 horse lorry and I know that Chilham also do a discount on course hire for groups of more than 6 which is always a benefit!

Perhaps a trip out to Lodge Farm too at some point?

I'm definitely up for Chilham park.I just have to get the ok from my physio to ride which may be easier said than done.If I can't ride I will definitely come and watch though. So we are aiming for March.Who is able to go to Chilham then?If there is anyone based between West Hythe and Chilham who wants to go but doesn't have transport I may be able to help.

OOh I'll be up for a Chilham Park jaunt, also from NWK and can hop in with Vicki and Drummer (if the box is big enough and they allow me)

I can meet at lodge farm and ride said horse. mine is too old now but i live just around the corner. My old boy is stabled in Brenchley . village next door !!
