How did I miss this news until now! Live in Stowmarket area and would be happy to get involved and help out whenever possible - although can be difficult as spend most of my time carting teenage daughter and her two ponies around the countryside eventing!! May also know of a couple of places for clinics if that would help - PM me if you want!

Lol, looks like we will potentially have quite a few members then (fingers crossed :) ) - We are hoping to become an affiliated club by next year, so that we can start entering teams for things etc. We need at least 20 members before we can become affiliated :)
 
There will be a non mounted membership, but we wont be able to offer hire horses I'm afraid - the insurance would be through the roof. However, I am sure there will be lots of members looking for people to help ride their horses etc (me probably as I'll be so busy organising!) so I'm sure there will be opportunities :)

I am near Pboro/ Wisbeach/ Spalding - I keep my horses on their own so would love to meet some horsey friends locally.

I am happy to help out if you need committee members, PM the details to me, would be more than happy to give up some time for a new riding club and the chance to meet more horsey pals:)

Having now spoken in depth with the owners of the equestrian centre in question, I can now 100% confirm that the riding club will be based at Topthorn Equestrian Centre, with full use of their indoor and outdoor arenas, grass rings and cross country course :)
