I know they build small for their indoor shows midweek but not sure if the same sort of level for their new outdoor arena. Talking about their mid week show, not any of teh elite shows as I know they would be too strong.

I basically need a friendly Foxhunter and everywhere I've been recently (Felbridge, Quainton last weekend) has just been too strong...

Not sure about Bury Farm sorry! But what about Patchetts? They have the Area 39a show on Sunday with a 1m10 open and a Fox/1m20 open I don't reckon that will be built too strong. I know it is on grass but usually Vicerage Farm isn't too strong. Good Luck

Vicarage Farm is cancelled ATM.

As an area show, I would expect the 1.20 on Sunday to be tough actually, though agree patchetts does build nice courses.

I don't know whether they are running one, but a Rose Cottage 1.20 (if they do them) might be good? What about Farnham town- though that is grass.

Quainton is building up to the mark at the moment! My eyes popped at some last time there.

I would give bury farm mid week a shout I think. Solihull was friendly built too a few weeks ago, though I didn't stay past the disco.

What about brook farm? I don't think they build too huge there? They have a show one day this weekend.

I don't personally think bury farm build particularly strong even at some of their elite shows but could just be because ive been grooming at some big big shows before going to there.

Is quainton building tough in all classes?

Brook Farm is lovely but super spooky, a lot were stopping yesterday.

They have gone outside now, but there's a lot going on and their fillers are BIG and bright.

They build to height and a Fox would be pretty strong there I think.

Thought Brook Farm outdoors would be quite strong... Quainton last year seemed tiny but I went there the other week and the Foxhunter was hideously big, so I only jumped the Newcomers which was also pretty strong, but then there were hardly any amateur riders there so I guess they can do that - Felbridge seems a bit the same at the moment, so many good riders in the area, they don't need to cater for plonkers like me jumping in the slightly bigger classes. Jays is ok I suppose... Not keen of Patchetts surface, the warm up especially is crap, but the tracks are small, might go there. Don't want to crucify my poor mare! :D

Suffolk is a fair trek for the jays and boyton from little flea I suspect, going by the geography of the other places- bucks, herts, and Essex/herts...

Cross posted- LF must be further round than I thought lol I thought she was near me, and boyton hall is 2.25/2.5 hours from me by car. Sorry!

We are Essex/Herts borders, but happy to travel 1.5h for day shows - usually go to places like Bury, Addington etc. x

heard nice things about some of those other venues but might be a bit too far for a day show.
