Anyone keep there horses at or near Hartpury College?

Hi,

Im most likely starting a couse at Hartpury in 2 weeks and am looking at possible livery places for my 2 mares. It needs to be DIY, and within walking/cycling distance from the college. Was wondering if anyone can reccommend anything?

Also, anyone who goes/went to Hartpury and would like to tell me their experiences/opinions, they'd be very greatfully listened to!

my sister starts uni there inseptember. she has found DIY livery for her 2 mares very near by.

if you PM me i can give you her email adress and she might be able to help you.
 
How far are you prepared to walk/cycle in the winter? (presumably 2x day?)

I know of several places but distance might be an issue

spacefaer- Im not sure to be honest, probably depends on the yard! I cycle 20 mins at the moment... How far are the ones you know of?

I used to keep my mare on Hartpury Livery yard, it made it easier and I had more time with her as I lived on site so had no travelling. I expect it costs more than a DIY yard though. I had a fab time at Hartpury, though it was 13 years ago I was there.
