Anyone know about an old post? please

After the horse and hound forum being off line for over a week I've only just come back on. I read with interest a post a few weeks ago about a horse that had been stolen whilst on loan by the owners and the loanee said she had paid for it. Now Ive searched through the forum and can no longer find it, did this ever get resolved?

If anyone can tell me either way I'd be very grateful

I think the thread was taken off the forum, because from what i remember some response was made from the owners side and all was not what it seemed, if you no what i mean...

As I recall it was very difficult to judge what was actually happening. When you read through the thread I think that the buyer came on asking for advice and then latterly a couple of posters came on making some pretty crude comments alleging certain things that were really close to the mark whether true or untrue.

Mind you, I'm not sure if the owners came on for that final post, although it didn't seem like a massive leap to make an assumption that they were. I do recall that one of them was a touch off the mark with their keyboard skills though!

Bella is correct I (the buyer) requested the threads be removed as they were extremely insulting to me personally (as someone who has loved and cared for horses my whole life) and the whole situation was really upsetting. I regret bringing the situation to the forum as i think it was overall very upsetting for all concerned, however originally was just trying to get advice. The money has been returned and the horse remains with his original owners. So as far as i am concerned it is all over with and I am just putting it behind me.
Right now I am deciding whether or not to think about buying another horse or just hold off and wait a while.
