anyone know any good horsebox hire berks/hants/oxford way

Im stuck with moving my horses..my horse had a bad experience in a trailer so I want to hire a horsebox where he will be more comfortable....
at the moment I can only find prices at £125 for a week day....just wondering if anyone knows of anyone - whether it is self drive or driven who offers a good rate and who is not too expensive

Wentworth equine travel are based berkshire and are really good - last time i looked they were about £99 for a 2 horse box

Henry Horsebox Hire Dont operate anymore, closed down last year.

Wentworth are good if you get what YOU BOOK! - lovely boxes but make sure they stick to what you have actually booked, they are on the A4 near Tywford.

These guys are good and I think they are still going!

Someone at my yard hires out trailers and a 2 horse box. He also has a large box and can pick up if required. He's based in hampshire tho so maybe too far for you? His website is www.horsemovers.co.uk

If yiu go to the chiltern rider magazine website you can read the small ads in the mag. I know that henry Horsebox has closed but I'm sure someone told me about another one in the thame/Chinnor area. Just can't remember thename.

Friend hired a box from Wentworth box hire a few weeks ago to take her horse to the vet, it was a fantastic 2 horse, rear facing lorry and was the talk of the yard when she turned up with it! Horse travelled very well in it and she said she had very good and friendly service. Don't forget though that you have to factor in the cost of the diesel that you use as you will need to return any vehicle with a full tank. Think the box was around £100 for the day.
