I had a quote form one Horsepital nearest to me this morning for scanning both front foot (MRI) and it came in at £1195 + vat - is that the average? Sadly pone not insured

Fairly sure that my vet told me the RVC had priced theirs at £995, it was on their fb page too I think.
Mine was done before they bought their MRI machine and cost about £1100 at Bell Equine some years back but it was more as they had to resedate to redo it as it moved as the last minute so I paid 2 sedation costs, they didn't do an all in price.
ETA Just did a quick search on the RVC Equine fb page and a post from Jan says £950
they were doing half price scopings in May!
It was free for clients half price for everyone elseI think that was only for clients registered with the Equine practice there, but they do that offer once a year.
