Anyone know Hargate Equestrian?

Thank you everyone, you;ve been great. Following the mad dash around yards I've had this weekend, I've settled on the yard Ali put me in touch with :D

Stolensilver - where abouts? I have been round most of them. It's been so hard to find somewhere with a school, good hacking (off main/ busy roads), nice big boxes, DIY or part livery, and a bit of life about it. The atmosphere at Hargate was exactly what I wanted.. something to push and encourage me, and lots ot get involved with. But in the end, I couldn't look my horse in the eye if I had to keep her in all winter and keep her in a tiny paddock the rest of the time.

Next goal - find cheaper (not poorer quality) hay!!

We are really looking forward to you moving to the yard! You will love it!
Let me know when you are moving and if you need help!
Why don't you use the farm's haylage? It is only £24 for a large bale and isn't too fattening or heating! You could share a bale with us! It would save the hassle of sourcing hay and would work out much cheaper! A big bale lasts me 2 weeks and I ended chucking the last bit as it had gone off. Works out as £6 week for each horse! The grazing is that good that you won't need to put any out in fields!
See you at weekend!!!!

We're moving in Sunday Ali - the corner box :D I've opted for haylage as cheaper than hay from elsewhere lol. Getting shavings from High Ash is it?
