Sorry in advance for stupid question from me.

I've had an offer on a saddle I have on ebay. I set it up as a 'buy it now or best offer'.

Anyway, I've been offered £750.

I've been looking through the help pages on ebay, trying to work out what my final fee will be, and whether it is worth accepting the £750 offer.

Is it 10% on a best offer, does anyone know.

thank you

Hiya
It's 10% but don't forget your paypal fee.

I sold a £700 on ebay and got stung with £40 from ebay and £25 from paypal xx

Thanks.

My buyer is from Germany and has asked to do an international bank transfer, instead of paypal. They asked to transfer by IBAN and BIC. Is this safe does anyone know?

sorry, thanks!

I would suggest they pay via paypal but set it up as a gift rather than a payment for goods or services, then there are no fees to pay for you.

Thanks frumpoon.

Sharon - if they paid by paypal and, say, if they disputed the saddle, paypal could take the money out of my paypal account. But if they paid directly into my bank account, then no-one could take the money out of my bank account? Is bank transfer safer, then?

(Saddle is in lovely condition and I'm sure buyer will be thrilled, but just trying to think of every angle, as I've not sold much on ebay before. And I've not sold anything of much value oversease either! Scary stuff!)
