We get ours from aspinalls? I know baileys sells it aswell as we got our from their a while back. Have you tried any of them already?

aspinalls havent got any left and wont be getting any for a long time because the weather has been to wet to do any no one has any! Baileys havent got any either. My horse gets a cough of hay COPD mild but i really need some haylegh!

I wonder what our yard is going to do then if aspinalls havent got any?
I think maybe they are just giving their loyal customers the haylage but who knows.

Erm not really sure where else, There are loads of farms but I not sure who sells haylage. maybe some up glossop way would? Have a nip into feed shops. bowlers etc and ask their.

We are a loyal customer! That is where we get everything alfs very god mates with YO's there really just isnt any! I need to find some otherwise my horsey is going to starve he cant even go out as hes not allowed!

Oh ok I thought you made your own on your yard. We are going to be stuck then arent we aswell we havent even got fields for horses to go in. Oh the fun I wonder if our YO knows this.

What about the Haylage Man at Etwall, he has some becuase I've just placed an order with him, small and large bales, also Gelston Haylage out towards Arena Uk (Grantham), St Clements at Calverton have haylage too.......

Can you get some of the small horsehage bales to keep you going?

Our yard is still getting it at the moment, but our supplier is struggling, and was talking about having to go to nottingham for some as he wasn't able to get it off his field

Our farmer says its going to be a struggle this winter. He's just sold all his reserve hay and haylage to a riding school. He bought a load of bales in on Tuesday night but its all ruined and only suitable for bedding. There is going to be a massive shortage this year, most hay and haylage is ruined from the weather and reserves sold as some horses being kept in. At the Bakewell farmers market small bales of hay were being sold for £7 a bale!! Thats more than 3 times as much as normal. Winter prices for haylage (if you can get it) likely to be £40-50 a bale, yikes - we're in trouble!
