Hi, we need a pony/horse looking for a quieter life due to injury or age, our mares very sweet and she's going to be left on her own soon if we cant find her a friend.
It would be a loving home for life and we would expect people to vet us and our yard etc, and would be welcome to come and see them in the future.
Im in the southampton area, if anyone knows of such a horse please let me know, you PM me if you like.
Thanks

The yard i'm at is currently looking for a home for a 12.2 mare, who is a lovely companion pony but has a problem with her shoulder that flares up when she is ridden. Low maintenance and lives out all year round - would she be suitable?
In warwick tho?

Horseworld in Bristol have lots of companions they are desperate to find loving permanent homes for at the moment (bigger tb types too rather not just smaller ponies) Not sure if its too far but thought I would post anyway.

Hi, it does sound like an ideal companion but too far away really, thats about a 3-4 hr drive.
Thanks anyway for your help.

I know of a 15.3/16hh 12 yr old coloured mare looking for a new home - can be ridden, nothing wrong with her but would be very negotiable to good home as she has (easily managed) moon blindness which means she wouldn't pass the vet..... very smart cob x type?

glos/hereford borders - prob too far?

We have a twenty year old gelding. He lives out all year round with a field shelter. He hasn't been ridden since march but he can be. He is happy either way. he lived out with a twenty-four year old mare two winters ago. he now lives next door to a mare and foal. There is a bit of squealing when she is in season but only because she is very hormnal and stirs him up. He has also lived with a colt and dealt very sympathetically with all his biting and baby behaviour. He is a very special horse but we now have a yearling and two foals so he is bottom of the list in terms of our attention.

We are based roughly in the middle of Wiltshire. Southhampton is about 1-1.30 hrs away.

Hi guys, thanks for the replys, we would like to try and keep within an hrs drive from southampton, but will travel for the right horse a little futher.
Ideally nothing over 15.2hh ish other wise we have to extend our spare stable as well!
Thanks
