Starting to look for other half who is a competent novice - hacks out, and starting to jump.

around the 17hh mark. Prefer not over 10. Doesn't have to be a plod just something that's not going to have an issue jumping smaller jumps (2ft mark) as well as higher.

Not worried about competition records - this is a horse to have fun on.

Also doesn't have to be completely bombproof - just sensible and generally good to do.

Budget around £5000 to £5500. Would prefer a month/two month's loan with view to buy.....

Mare/gelding is irrelevant - will look at nice cob x, ID x and warmbloods.

Please let me know if you have any ideas!

Thanks guys......something on loan with a wtb would be perfect....I've made too many mistakes with horses and don't want to get caught out again!

my horse would be perfect but i love him too much!
i knew him for a year before buying so why not ask every instructor you know and you may find something that way as you may be ableto have a safer bet that way.good luck!
