We've recently got engaged and know what we're looking for but can't seem to find anything that doesn't blow the budget (and eat into my new horse fund!!!) so I thought I'd put my feelers out on Horse and Hound and see if anyone knew of anywhere in Surrey/Hampshire that may be suitable.
We've looked at all the barns listed as venues but it seems as soon as the W word is mentioned the prices reach thousands of pounds and whilst we don't want to skimp too much on the day we'd rather not blow most of the budget on just the venue if we can help it.
We're not after the full mod cons, just somewhere rustic in the countryside. We're willing to help out on the farm, with the animals, tidying the barn, doing any odd jobs or chores etc. and/or pay a nominal fee and would obviously tidy up after ourselves in exchange for the use of the barn and would be forever grateful to anyone who can help us.
