I'm another longstanding customer of Caroline Woodward - she's brilliant! Never lets you down and the horses' feet are always immaculate. Despite being a very busy farrier she always does her best to fit you in if a horse loses a shoe or has a problem. She won loads of prizes when she was training. I think she must have been our farrier for 12 years now? How we would manage without her I don't know.

When I lived in Sweden there were loads of female farriers, but then Sweden has always been a more open minded country!Also in Brazil, lots of female farriers, professional jockeys and trainers, many more than here.But they (the women) have a very different mind set overseas!
