Anyone know of any horsebox hire West Yorks?

Hi,
I am selling my mare and someone is getting her vet checked on Tuesday. If it all goes well they are going to take her at the weekend. However they do not have a trailer/box so does anyone know of anyone who would transport from Halifax to Leeds? And not be too pricey. Thanks for any help!

Malcolm Ambler used to do transport and he is from Halifax but not sure if he still does and I don't have his contact details. So not much use am I!! Unless you can search in telephone book for his number?

There was a chap in Bradford/Wyke area I used a few years ago, can't remember his name except that he had commercial driving horses for weddings etc.
He was very good and not expensive.
Does Bruce Everall at AcreCliffe do transport?

If you're still stuck, just over the border in Oldham, Lancs, County car hire have a ifor small horsebox that they hire out. Looks like a trailer on the back of a small lorry, and was really easy to drive when I hired it years ago. (Changed every year, so don't worry - won't be the one I hired!) Don't have the no, but expect you could find it online..

Your probably sorted now but anyone reading this thread may be interested to know that one my neighbours in Collingham, north of Leeds near Wetherby, has started a Horse transport and horse box hire business using the luxury Equi-trek Super Sonic which is rated up to 4 tonnes (4000kg).
