I am very interested in sending my youngster to be started by him, he is based in wrexham and his web site looks super. I have been in contact with him.

I have had bad experiances with sending a youngster away to be started before and really want to get this right, would really appricate any views.
 
I've sent one to be backed by Jonathan - he is very good, very professional and has done a great job, would highly recommend him. Haven't seen his new yard, but the one at Lymm was run very well and looked super tidy.
 
Is this the Jonathan who was based at Somerford Park?
Or am I confusing him with somebody else?

If it is the same guy, I know somebody who sent a mixed up youngster to him and he was very honest in his assessment and outlook for the horse.

He seemed like an all round good egg when I met him and saw him riding said youngster.
Unfortunately he couldn't sort said youngster out but I don't think that was a reflection on his riding/methods, more that he thought the horse dangerous and he told the girl to sell him back to the previous owner, which she did.

Of course, if it isn't the Jonathan Parrot who was at Somerford, what I have told you is no more than useless information :).
 
Thank you so much for taking the time for your reply's guy's.... this has really made up my mind, and i'm now definitly going to go over to his yard for a visit, and it's looking very positive that we will now send our boy over to him, thanks again guys x
