I've found out a little about my Mollie's (previously called Marti) past but would love to know more.

There's a name on her passport, Miss Tam Strachan of Contin, Ross-shire, Scotland. I have been unable to contact this lady, she's long since moved address. But she owned Marti some years ago and may be able to fill some gaps for me.

She might also be interested to see how her old girl's doing now, I'd be more than happy to send photos. :)

So if anyone's ever heard of her, has any clues to her whereabouts or better still can show her this thread, please let me know. :)

Hey, I dont think Contin is that big a village so someone still there may know her or remember her, or know her family.

Apoligies if you have done this already, Why not get in touch with the admin of the Contin Community f.b page and ask if they can help you , there's a phone number and email address on the "about" section of their f.b page. They might know her or her family or know if there are other local horsey people you could get in touch with that could help you and might remember your horse. Ask if you can send a picture of your horse to put up in their local community centre asking for info. Or even if they or you can post a picture of your horse on their f.b page asking for info.

p.s Tam is an uncommon name for a girl, presumably short for ?Tamara ?? Tammy. It is however common to shorten men's Thomas or Tom to Tam in Scotland. Tam Strachan is a common mans name.

Good luck! :)
