I bought a headpiece on a certain online auction site and it was advertised as extra full size - however, it is smaller than the one on my horses current bridle which as far as I know is full size - can anyone tell me what an extra full size headpiece measures across between the splits?
The one I received this morning is 34.5 cm between the splits. I checked with the manufacturer and this is their extra full size.
The one I already have is 36.5 cm and is a Stubben.
So is it a case that I've already got an extra full size bridle and need bigger - he's big but not a shire or anything! Or do some manufacturers just have really small sizes?
I need something bigger than my Stubben but doesn't cost the earth and ideally just the headpiece in black leather.
