Anyone know the headroom a 15.3 would need in a lorry?

I think the Ifor 505 trailer has around 7'3" but you can easily check. That takes upto 16.2hh in height

sounds like you want 7'3 ideally, but the more the better! Had a look at the ifor website, looks like the 505 is 7'1.
 
The lorry i'm going to see has a 8ft headroom (it's the silver one Em,decided against the blue one as they don't seem genuine now Rob has spoken to them!) The girl puts her 16.2hh in it fine.Will be seeing it saturday.
 
Cool. The blue one looked dodgy to me, looked v nice outside but thats kind of irrelevant really as it looked v dark inside, the floor looked a bit suspect and would be v concerned about the lack of any type of gate between the horse and the ramp, know the boy would just try to walk straight off before you could get the ramp up! If you like it will you buy straight away and bring back? V handy having a mechanically minded OH!
 
Yep will take it there and then.The lady is going to have all the keys and paperwork ready so fingers crossed! The other one was interesting,it had no service history,needed a new cambelt,had no tax,the man had no idea of the mileage?! but it turned out to be very high although that wouldn't put me off it was just he was very unsure and vague on a lot of basic things.Rob said he'd rather drive an extra 2 hrs and get a decent one than get one locally that would break down on the journey home! I totally agree with him,it's great having a OH on the ball with these things.
