Anyone know what this pulse is? Should I be worried?

Horse is lame full lame workup fone, including xrays vet said navicular. Anyhow I am now taking his pulse regularly and there s one point on the inside front leg just above the fetlock that I find pounding, even visibly moving, however the digital pulse that you would normally take at the side below the fetlock s hardly detectable. Sometimes it is in both legs but mainly in the one that he is lame on. I told vet but he was not really interested  Just to add it seems worse at the end of the day and hardly visible in the morning, So my question is is this a pulse to be concerned about and what s is, I have scoured the internet ref horse anatomy but nothng really conclusive? Could there be other issues (LGL?)

Could it be a digital pulse, but in a different place? I have been shown 3 places by 3 different people of where to take it!

I would think any bounding pulse would indicate some kind of inflammation, but I am no vet. x
