Anyone know what's happening with Woodlands Stables (Epping forest area)?

Noticed that they recently went from having a website to no website and listed as "permanently closed" on google maps? I think the Essendon & Epping Forest Dressage Group still lists them as their venue for their coming shows (posted through mid year) though. Anyone know if they're just rebranding or if that yard is going to be lost for good? Hoping it's not going to be another Epping area yard lost :( [edited for typo]

I’m supposed to be going to a clinic there in a couple of weeks!

I have heard on the grapevine that it’s going to be lost to planning permission but I thought it was going to be a longer term thing!!

I'm confused about what that ("lost to planning permission") even means? I guess when people say that they're generally talking about situations where the land is being leased by the yard currently and the land owner applied for planning permissions to do something else with it? Ugh, gutted if that's the case. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't help but feel like more yards in the area are being lost every year. London living really does make horses a difficult hobby (and I don't even have my own yet!) :(

Where I was in Essex every other yard was closing and getting planning for big estates of executive housing about 3- 5 years ago. I think the Tories changed some law about 10 years back that made that a lot easier to do.

It's kind of a no brainer if you are fed up with horses or need money and are within a decent London commuting distance. Take the money and move somewhere else. Very sad though.
