my Dally daft dog keeps eating soil? Heared and seen horses doing this but not dogs - please bear in mind she will eat anything........but I am a little confused and concerned....
Anyone know why....

Both our girls were forever eating the compost out of our potted plants last summer. Could never figure out why and their general health and wellbeing didn't seem to be lacking so couldn't figure that they had any vitamin shortage or anything. Will be interested to see the responses on this one too

I think I am going to get her a blood test and a general MOT at vets immediately after Christmas. She's a golden oldie (nearly 13 years) and that's quite good for a Dally. Other than the strange soil eating, like yours, seems to be nothing wrong with her (mad old bat she is) LOL

One of mine does too, and picks leaves off particular plants. He also eats his own poo.....only his own mind, anyone elses and that would be just plain disgusting
