Anyone like to find me a nice safe cob?!

I've been sort of looking & can't buy until I've sold my TB (or part-exed!) but would like the following:
Calm, safe & bombproof
Been there, done that
Likes fuss
Mare (will need to live with my other mare)
Not mareish
Suitable for my build (5'4, 8 1/2st)
Sensible age

That's it! Are there any out there or am I asking for too much?! :)
 
I know of a young mare. She's only raising 4 BUT quiet sweet and gentle (well as gentle as a cob gets!!). She's a medium/heavy weight hairy Mary at the moment but will be a nice sort once tidied up. She's currently resting but has been hacked, schooled and lightly jumped. She will be ready for bringing back into work in the next few weeks and the owner will be hacking her out and doing some small comps to get her more experienced before selling. She's what I call a Traditional cob, lots of feather and mane, black/brown with a white flash and really just the type that's hard to find. Not the prettiest thing in the world but she's the image of my Little Cob boy and if she were bigger (she's 15hh..ish) I'd have bought her myself but I don't need another little cob so I got Big Cob instead. Pm me if you want more info and I'll ask the owner to contact you.

That's exactly what I was looking for and am same height and weight as you and live south northants/north bucks! spooky. p.s. have looked at adverts for Delilah and Ellie, think Delilah was 15yrs old and ellie looked nice but think ad been around for a while maybe? Don't suppose you want to share your super cob when you find it!? :)

What is your budget?

Does it have to be a cob? Just wondering as there are other types that would be just as quiet and at your weight you don't want anything that may be strong.

They may be fine with a stronger person but once you get them home they may realise you not as strong (just a thought)
