anyone live in south london?

I used to ride regularly in Central London. Sadly the Civil service Club at the Royal Mews is no more and the Leilla Blum stables on the South side of Hyde Park closed down some years ago. Sister Mary Joy has her yard (Wormwood Scrubbs Pony Club) behind Wormwood Scrubs Prison with the large indoor arena which was built as a result of the Ask Annika Programme. Close by their is the Ealing Riding School. Their is also the Inter Action City Farm at Chalk Farm (You can hack to Hampstead Heath from there). The only other livery yard is to the South of Hyde Park.

There is one other option and that is to have a partner who is an officer at the barracks to the South of Hyde Park as you can then get permission to excercise their horses in Hyde Park.

There are also some un-used areas of grazing still left in London......

yes Dean City Farm is still up and running, but South London Pony Club isn't. The person I know now works at the yard I work at, and she's called Lisa-Jo (known as Lee).
