Just wondering whether anyone out there has been to the Malvern Hills RC evening dressage?
I'm wanting to know how busy it's likely to be there... should have gone to one of the previous ones to suss it out, but didn't get my act together!

Not too hopeful of anyone being able to tell me as I'm not sure there's many malvern based people on here?!

I'm a bit wary now as I took her out to a RC evening dressage evening which was marketed as being low key for young horses, novice riders etc and it was INCREDIBLY busy

I've not done 'normal' horsey outings for a few years, but this was the same scale as the open shows I used to go to

I'm local to Malvern and I'm sure these are fairly low-key. I've not been myself, but they don't seem to do much advertising for them and I think my friend went last year and said it was quiet.
However who knows this year as with everything being canc people are just getting out to whatever is on!! Good Luck!

Thankyou!
After surviving the last one that we went to (see above post!) with only one unscheduled dismount I'm sure we'll survive another even if it is busier than I'd hope.
However... part of the reason I'd like it to be quiet is so that I don't have to make use of my public liabilty insurance, I'm sure Boo would happily try and maime any innocent bystanders if she got the chance

Its my local riding club and I've been, the evening dressage shows are low-key and not too busy. Its quite laid back, you don't need to plait etc. Having said that the last 3 have been cancelled due to the wet weather, this Thursday is also off but there are 2 new dates, 2 and 23 August, see www.mhrc.co.uk. Hope that helps!

Thankyou Beano!! And welcome to the forum!

Will perhaps see you there? I'll be the one on a chunky little TB (regularly mistaken for a QH!) hanging onto the neckstrap for grim death, LMAO! Actually she's not really that bad, but I wouldn't rule the possibilty out
