I've just had my six monthky visit from Bransby who I loan my companion from - they are a lovely charity to deal with and she mentioned that they have now lifted their geographical restriction on loans and will now loan anywhere (it used to be 60 miles from their base in Lincoln, but have recently loaned a pony to Jersey!)

Interesting Polos Mum, do you have to arrange your own transport or can they do it and you pay ?

They will deliver for 75p per mile (no idea whether that's comparable to professional transporters!)

They really are supportive - I had to tell them the pony has no teeth left and might not make it through the winter - they said I know him much better than they do now so would support me however I needed support, if I thought a difficult decision needed to me made - really nice attitude.
