Anyone made their own blocker tie ring?

Google tells me it is a patent metal fastening to hitch a horse to.

Its a device to stop horses pulling back and breaking away when tied. I think its an australian invention, and they are lik 30 quid off the internet. Heard of people making them before so just wondering if I would be able to do it myself

I dont think a DIY Blocker Tie-ring is an option to be honest. My daughter had one for a horse that didn't like to be restrained. It meant that he was secured to a point but if he paniced he had the option to pull back. Expensive at about £30 but well worth the money if you need one.
