I have a rather feisty mare in at present. The old rider can't remember the name of the calmer they used to use but think it began equi.... She also thought that the company used to sponsor the Jas series in the past? As anyone got a clue which calmer she means? She didn't think it was a magnesium based one as she had tried nupafeed and said that didn't help at all..... Any ideas welcomed

There is also Equistro Equiliser, you can google it, just started using it today on my mare so can't comment on effectivity just yet.

[/ QUOTE ] I use the Equistro range on my horses and have found the betamag 12 v good for calming my mad tb x! Tried the Equiliser but didnt work on mine although might on yours though. Can also highly recommend the mega base vit min supplement also it gives all the trace elements your horse needs in 1 scoop. I do all the ordering etc and rep stuff for work (work at a vets) and think this company is fab! If its good enough for the german olympic team its good enough for my guys!

Thx for that, if equiliser doesn't work will give betamag 12 a shot. Is also a mad TB (mare) who recently had quite a bad do with a gate whilst someone else was riding her and has been behaving like a crank ever since. Started her with equiliser last night and she did actually come out of the stable sensibly this morning, mind you she can do that for a few days and then goes back to nutter! I currently use equivite for broad spectrum vits and mins is the equistro one better?
