Anyone near Kelsall Hill ?

Whats the weather/ground like up there? Hoping its not as hard as Burnham Market was last week but with Oasby looking very hard too really want one more run this year!!

It is usualy quite good at Kelsall - can get a bit firm in places but as a rule it is sandy up there so not too bad. Haven't been recently as horse out of action but have ridden there at all times of the year and never been horrified!!

I'm not far away and it hasn't rained for ages. I would imagine that it will be firm at best. But it is sandy and I should imagine that they will have prepared the ground the best they can.

ditto that - can't remember last proper rain. But last time the ground was very firm there (Apr 08??? - and it did feel concretey at first) they had equivated the xc and it very, very quickly broke up a bit and was actually very good.
