.....possibly have a stable available for saturday night??? I am getting dropped off at Weston to start my new life with the horse but wanted to go on the sat rather than sun, then I can watch XC and climb the marquee. I emailed entires sec and apparently all stables are taken-this was tuesday. Plan is to leave with mew employee on the sun- but if anyone has any ideas about where to put the nag on sat night much appreciated!
 
Why don't you try Rodbaston College? Literally 2 mins off J12 of the M6 and only a hop skip and a jump from Weston. 01785 716801
 
It might be worth trying Weston Park again as I know of a poor rider who had to withdraw last minute due to breaking her leg so her stable could be available
 
Eventerlad, is your horse fully vaccinated etc, if so there will definitely be spare stables there (there always are), perhaps your new employer (well, i'm guessing you're not going to be the employer, whatever your post said!) could pull some strings for you if s/he is competing there at the moment.
Otherwise, pm me, I used to live 10 mins up the road from Weston Park and could prob find someone in Bishops Wood or Wheaton Aston with a spare stable, these are both about 5 miles from Weston.

Kerelli-yes were up to date and sorted. Yes I mean i'm the employee....heres a clue..its a wp positon in devon!
 
I can only think of 2 top eventers in Devon, and if it's either of those, lucky you!
tbh i'd definitely ask your new boss to try to sort it from the inside, as it were... if you call as a non-competitor i think you might get short shrift, as the Organiser and the Stable Manager are usually spinning countless plates by now as well as fielding countless idiotic questions from the competitors... ;) ;)

Well as you were going for trial with Lucy W assume it is her?
Which horse are you taking?
Imagine Devon will be very remote so as a Cumbrian you should feel right at home ;) Good luck hope you have fun and learn lots

Yes-very excited!! I'm just taking Duncan for now, as Shannah is still not fully fit so he will join me at Xmas and stay until may..hopefully I will stay till uni next september!
