My mentor has suggested I work with as many different horses as possible over the winter- so that i can see what type of personality horse suits me best in preparation for choosing new horse next year ...

and also I'd like to, so that I can expand my skills, and keep busy over the holidays as grass polo season is over!
I am experienced with horses, and am confident handling/ riding. I have my own horse, and have had a couple in the past. I have polo groomed for three years (so regularly ride sharp polo ponies, but also have my own 16.3 charger as well!) and and also done some work at eventing yards over the last year. I am happy to either help at yards, groom at events etc or do some looking after if people are away or working over Christmas. Don't mind if it's private owners who just want a helping hand, or working yards. I am happy to feed, groom, muck out/poo pick etc, exercise (lunge/ride, whatever!) or whatever else horsey needs doing! Please PM asap for more details as I'm filling up my diary early, and will be fitting things in between work at current other yards. I also have a friend (experience similar to mine, she's a VERY good rider) who's available as well, so can cope with the workload. NB Must be around Cambridge, Newmarket or somewhere easily reachable by public transport preferably!
Thanks!

Have you contacted Maddingly road vet school?
It's def easy busy route in Cambridge.

My old loan mare now lives there (well lived, I'm not sure if she's still there). They have some horses available to ride etc, especially over student holidays when the med students have gone.

Ali who ran the yard and her head groom Marcello were lovely, and both play polo in Cambridge so a lot of the horses there are retired polo ponies etc, but they also have others in that need all sorts of work
