Anyone out there help me with a dialing code?

Ok so took my mates new number, Just got back from visiting her in spain) which has 0034 in brackets at the beginning then 666 then the rest of the number, any idea what I need to put into my mobile to make it work???

+44 and leave off the bracketed bit??? but then I just read somewhere that its +3466... but is that included already in that number???

If its a spanish based number then I guess +34 then the number. The +44 would be if its a UK based number that she has taken with her... I think?!?

+44 is if you in another country calling the UK. If your calling her in spain then its +34 666...etc

It would be +34 and then drop the first 0 of the number

Thanks so much... just to clarify Im in UK with a uk mobile and shes in spain with a spanish mobile so the general concensus is that I need to dial +34 666 ?????? ... as the zero's were before the 34 bit??

From the UK you will need to dial 00 34 666 then the remainder of the number.

00 is the international access code from the UK, so you need to dial that to get to any foreign country. On a mobile you can use the + sign instead. As the others said, 34 is the country code for Spain. 666 is the code for Vodafone Spain mobile numbers (usually).
