Anyone recognize this saddle brand?

Hi - I bought a second hand saddle which I no longer need. The brand name has rubbed off the plaque but it starts with an 'F', the next letter is probably 'O' and the last letter is definitely and 'R'. Does anyone recognize this brand of English made saddle?

Not really relevant, I had never heard of them untill I rode a friends mare last week, she has one and I absolutely loved it.

I had a Foresters saddle for my old mare. My dad’s partner gave it to me years ago. They both live in the New Forest.

It depends what you mean by good? Small workshop, better known in the New Forest than elsewhere so resale would be a little more limited than some other brands, but still popular amongst some/many. It's a long time since I've seen one, I remember decent but not top notch quality, would reflect maybe mid-high teens price these days rather than any higher?

They don't fit the way I would fit natives etc (we all have different approaches) but again they're well regarded for fit in particular pockets.

OP - a quick google suggests second hand pricing is around £200-£300 depending on condition.

I'd prefer a calcutts & sons saddle if I had the choice of a local brand. But i believe they sit in a different price bracket and don't come on the second hand market very often.
