I would love your feedback/opinions please! My saddler has one for me to try.

I'm 5'2 with a fairly narrow pelvis so I'm hoping it will suit (as long as it fits my mare!)

I've ridden in an Isabelle before and detested it (felt far too big and bulky) and a KN Symphonie which I liked a lot (a bit more streamlined for my stumpy pins I think!)

Any other suggestions for dressage saddles which suit the vertically challenged would also be gratefully received :)

I thought I wanted a Jessica so went to my lovely saddler and tried one and wasnt that impressed. I had sat in my friends Suzannah which i really liked so I upped my budget and tried one which was great. Saddler then tried an Albion which I hated, and lastly the Roella which I instantanously loved!! I got back in the Suzannah after and although safe and comfy it felt like I was perched on a wide seat rather then in the saddle like in the Roella. After sitting in the Roella I didnt like the Suzannah as much.

I find the narrow twist great (I'm not tiny but no where near tall), and I think that its the most comfy saddle I have sat in. My Mum also picks it over my Impala for hacking. A defo thumbs up for the Roella!!

Hi, I have a rowella and am really pleased with it, I've got a buffalo skin one which I've not tryed before, but would highly recommend. I'm very short legged and find it suits me well as sits me quite close to the horse.

Great to hear some good reviews. Really hoping it fits us both :) also Avthechav - very very interesting to hear you have an impala jump saddle for the same horse as thats the one Im hoping to have a try of when shes a little bit fitter (the monoflap version)

Im currently managing dressage in a bates momentum (and have done for some time) so you can imagine my horror when I get into these blocky/deep dressage saddles!

I had a bates GP saddle and I used to fall off a LOT :-D. People kept telling me to change my saddle but I just thought that I was falling off coz rubbish. I did change saddle and the difference was incredible! I love the blocks, they really make my position much stronger. Having said that I have turned into an Ideal convert, I tried an Albion K2 jumping saddle which I hated. The blocks were huge and I felt fab with jockey length stirrups but not great in hacking length stirrups, likewise with the dressage saddle. It was great if my stirrups were ideal length but not good if I shortened them up a bit. I hope you like the Ideals :-)

I have one. Tried about twenty saddles over a few months and it's the only one I liked!
