Anyone seen this clip before??

Looks like a good useful sort of clip, I don't really understand why you have to clip your horse in a certain way, why should you have to do a blanket/trace/full clip? Just clip your horse however you want.
My horses live out so I like them to have warm bums when they turn their bum towards the wind/rain, So I leave the back end on but take all the front end off in a diagonal line from stifle to wither.
I don't know what you'd call it but it suits my horses & their lifestyle.

The clip may serve the purpose they want! looks better that some clips I've seen on here and around shows imho

Its a common clip for racehorses, can't see anything wrong with it at all.

A photo of my pony who has the same clip as colleen's horse but designed that way - sort of a cross between a chaser and blanket - wonder why I bothered though as due to the snow and freezing weather have not been able to ride him for ages. He lives out so I don't want to take too much off his back end but he is a hot pony so gets uncomfortable if I ride him and he overheats - tends to sweat only on his front end though!
