A Scooter or Moped, doesn't need to be beautiful just road worthy and not needing anything done to it, for £350 or less willing to take an offer?? if so let me know pls, also how much would you pay for a helmet?? cheers all,

Can't help with the scooter, but for a helmet do not get second hand, and go to a shop with several and try them on. Just like riding hats they're all a different fit.
Years ago I used to use Shoei and Arai, no idea what's current best though - maybe flick through the bike mags in WHS and see.

Dont buy a second hand helmet buy a new one , i got one off the net was about £60 i think.
Also i think you will be lucky to get a scooter for £350 when i was looking the cheapest ones i found were atleast £600. Ill be selling mine soon but it was £1200 new in august so a bit of the price range

i've found a few at £350 and less but there all bloody miles away nd i've contacted a dude on gumtree thats selling his for £350 to see if he'll take a deposit nd hold it for the week for me, just waiting to see if he will now, so we'll see. i've giot my cbt test booked for thursday

Good luck for your CBT Isme, although its not really a test as such

I did mine a few months ago and have an intensive course and my "proper" test booked for next month! Terrified! Bloody new test as well which is a joke Good luck!

BTW, my helmet cost me £90 which was on sale from £150.
