Anyone stabled at Isleham?

In light of appeal for Intro competitors to do section across both days, wondering what the stabling is like? I would have thought that 27 for shavings would suggest quite nice, but know from experience that standards vary considerably. Can anyone comment on box size, lighting, whether matting etc? Also, is it in middle of nowhere, is there a B&B to stay at nearby-lorry only day living. Thanks in advance!

There isn't a 'yard' at Isleham, it's just a XC course in the middle of crop filelds.

There is a livery sort of across the road, Sodden Night used to keep her horses near there.

Soham is the nearest town, failing that Newmarket.

thet used to send the stabling ones to tatts in newmarket dont know if they still do

I would guess that it is a good 20 mins - 1/2 hour to Newmarket in a lorry.
