wondered if anyone from here was competing? I'm not but thought about popping along to watch as it's just down the road from me. I'm going to enter the HT on the 11th March so would be useful to see it first too!!

Nope not there this year SULK!
But then again, quite pleased as so far I have done ZERO dressage and ZERO xc schooling lol
This is the first YEAR EVER i have only SJed lol

I had to withdraw because my horse slipped over in the field but I'm going on sunday to watch. Hopefully my horse will be up and running in time to do some dressage and sj before munstead.

Doing the PN on saturday - section F. i also havent managed to fit in any xc schooling

every time i have had a weekend free to go, it has either snowed previously or bucketed down with rain!! Feeling slightly apprehensive about this, but my boy does love his xc and if we have a stop, well, its not the end of the world...using this as a warm up to the season!!

Slightly more concerned about the sj, as is going to rain tuesday - thursday (according to the bbc online weather!), so just hope its not slippery as we may not make the turns!

I can't believe the eventing season has started already. But we do have to wait another 2 months before it starts in Scotland.

Can't wait although am same as hammiehamlet, my XC clinc was cancelled due to snow and my all weather event day postponed!

Hello

it's the chid & lec that are holding the HT. their website is clandchunt.co.uk - there are 3 classes, 2'6 - 2'9 / 3'0 - 3'3 / 3'6 open.

I actually nearly had heart attack when i saw who was in section F - counted at least 10 of the big wigs...including Pippa Funnell, William Fox Pitt........

Still will be nice to warm up with them and give them something to laugh at!! Just hope they dont go after me in the sj, as they will have to wait for ages whilst they put all the jumps back up again

Looks a very competitive section, a few names i know who are one horse owners too.

Next week Tweseldown anyone going? look out for MIRAGE D'ELLE in section H i think. ALso ridden by Pippa Funnell, i rode him last year for my trainer as he had him in to school

He was very wobbley but had an amazing SJ plus good XC too although was scared of ditches - lovely lovely horse - reminds me of my snoopy!
