anyone successful getting pics/info from breeder?

I found out my entire ponies history, via this board and Hamlets house, I'm friends and in contact with all her foals owners now also. Her dam sadly passed away the other week, and her sire is still with his other owner now, in his twenties, still doing affiliated jumping! So Cassie who I have, is the only older one left I think. Her breeder sadly died, and his stock, went to a good friend of his who ended up with my mare as a youngster and had her for quite a many years and has her as a broodmare. She always offers a forever retirement home for her if I ever need one for her as she'd love to have her at home again for her twilight years, which is lovely and sweet, though I've always promised that Cass has a home for life with me. :)
 
My welshies breeders are fab! When i bought her, her previous owner had not registered themselves on the passport so had to get a transfer of ownership signed by the breeder. When i called him (WPCS gave me the number) he was over the moon to hear about her as he had lost track of her 1 year prior and could even describe her down to the last whorl!. i was at work and just wanted a quick chat and ended up on the phone for forty minutes! when i sent her transfer of ownership to him, he signed it and arrived through my letter box after only 4 days! :D
 
We met my mares breeders at a breed show, but we had no transport and hadn't taken the horse! They were pleased to hear how she was doing and sent us some baby pics :) It was lovely to find that she was the first they bred from their own mare and stallion. We have also met her full brother at another show :)
 
We have bought 2 direct from the breeder, a 4 yr old and her 2 yr old brother. We have kept in touch since and she is keen to stay in touch with their new owners too.
 
My boy was bred on a well known stud (now HEROS), have previously messaged the owner but nothing. Will send an email instead as would love to see baby pics! Would love to find out more about his mum too.
 
We as Breeders love to get info back from new owners so naturally we give any info & photos of the horses or ponies that we have from the day they are born. We also set up a facebook page quarryfield stables so, not only have the new owners the photos, they also can see how the siblings of their new purchase are doing. It is nice if it works both ways.
