Anyone tow with a lexus rx 300??

Hi- does anyone tow with a lexus 300?? Need to buy a tow vehicle, trying to balance my need for practicality along with hubby wanting a car that doesn't look too horsey/ 4x4!

According to the Lexus site and specs = http://www.lexus.co.uk/car-models/is/is-300h/#/PricesAndSpecifications - towing is prohibited on one model and a max of 750 kg on the others !!

Thanks rog but that link and assume info is for a different model- that's for an is300 where I was after info on the rx300.. The suv

2000 kg max towing capacity on that one according to the link

No Lexus, but I recently went through this kind of search myself, we wanted something that would tow up to 2000kg (i.e. One big horse or 2 ponies comfortably in our Bateson Ascot), and that I could use for work and not look like a farmer when I rock up to customers!

NB: I have an OAP license so I'm not sure what would be legal for you if you have a new style one!

Our shortlist ended up as:

Kia Sportage (Capacity varies but up to 2000kg depending on model)
VW Tiguan (Capacity varies but up to 2000kg depending on model)
Skoda Octavia Scout (Capacity varies but up to 2000kg depending on model)

If you need to tow 2 biggies the Kia Sorrento and VW Toureg are worth a look.

We ended up with the Sportage and I'm really happy with it so far.

Thanks- we opted to buy a Kia sorento instead
