According to their data the 350 can tow 3.5t but has anyone got o e they tow with and how does it cope?

I need to get a nearly new car & the Discos are just too much money or too high mileage. Wasn't keen on the Shogun, seemed a bit unrefined inside and to drive. Amazons too old for my budget.

Yes and I love it. Had mine a few years and as well as having a top of the range, executive car feel, it is probably the best car I have towed with - stable, easy and effortless. I have towed long distance/locally and 2 up and it's always been great. Bit of a fuel guzzler though so if you are after something cheap to run I would forget it.

My friend had one and I really liked it. When I looked at it at first I didn't think it looked up to towing but it managed a 505 with two horses easily.

I've had mine 8 years now. Automatic diesel, really comfy car. Tows 2 big horses easily. I've just upgraded from IW505 to 511. Also tows no problem with 36 bales of hay which I collect from my parents regularly. I now drive a Fiesta every day though as it is not fuel efficient. Great in snow and floods!

Yep. Brilliant car to tow with. Smooth, powerful and handles like a dream. It doesn't even notice two big horses in a 511 trailer.

Unfortunately you'll need your own petrol station to run it. It'll do 40mpg on a good day on its own but averages at not much more than 15mpg with two big horses!

I have a 2011 diesel one and it tows 2 big horses no probs. I was a bit concerned when we got it as I previously had a range rover but its been grand.

Oh that's all good to hear! I thought they looked to smart to tow but I guess Jeep use their engines & I know they are rated as a tow car as long as its the Merc engine! Exciting!,

Ive got an Ifor 510 (I think) - anyway IW double trailer capable of 2 x 16.2hh but my boy is 16hh and its normally just me, plus all our gear. I have however used it to tow my friends larger IW trailer which was 2 up with her 17.2hh WB and my 16hh TB, through the most horrible of mud last year at an event, and the ML was the only thing that was making out without any assistance. Even the Disco parked next to us had to be towed. Was well impressed.
