Hi all,
Hesitate to post this as I know lots of people feel very strongly about towing with a car! However, just wondering if anyone tows with one of these..? According to my car's handbook, I can tow my cob in a single IW trailer with a fair bit of weight to spare for tack etc. I plan to rent one for a weekend and take the whole lot to a weighbridge just to make sure I'm not illegal!
However, a friend has told me it might stuff up my gearbox. Or something technical like that
As you can tell(!) I have no interest in or knowledge of cars at all but obviously don't want to destroy it either - so just wondering if anyone who has towed with an Alhambra or something similar could reassure me I'm not going to do any lasting damage. Btw it would be to go to local shows etc. so would hopefully be able to check out parking beforehand - I'm not the world's greatest driver and have no plans to find myself stuck in a wet field in the middle of nowhere, so am thinking about pulling power on regular roads
