They would actually be for my husband when he is cycling, but thought people on here might have recommendations (and because I'm not on any cycling forums). Husband has been very patient with me and the young horse, cycling around the woods at snails pace as we get used to hacking. His hands get really cold and I need him to keep coming with us for a bit yet!

i have some, they were about £150 so a lot of money. they would be ok for cycling but not good for riding as they are quite bulky...i used them while i was mucking out and they kept my hands warm so that when i tacked up i could use my fingers ....my hands used to be numb when i got back from my ride and i used the battery gloves again to thaw them out , the rechargeable batteries lasted about an hour if used on the maximum , dont know how long on the lower strength.. i did buy a cheaper pair which were about £30 but i sent them back as they were not good enough...hope that helps

I bulk buy the wee disposable Heat Holders hand warmers and wear them between 2 pairs of gloves. My usual SSG gloves are thin and then I put a cheap pair of fingerless gloves on top - pop the heat holder in between the gloves on the palm and my hands stay toasty all day! They don't affect me riding as they aren't bulky and the wee bit of bulk there is is in your palm so no affecting the reins.

I got a pair from Amazon and... well they kinda work.... They are snowmobiling but I use them for turnout on the cold days here. Honestly it depends on how cold it gets there. I know they don’t work well lower than -15. Takes the edge off but not perfect. Also I have to turn the battery on before the gloves. Nearly sent them back cause I couldn’t figure out why they wouldn’t turn on.
