Ive spotted these:

http://www.rainlegs.co.uk/

they look like half chaps for your thighs and keep them dry.

I thought they wouldnt be too heavy or cumbersome if you have to school in the rain.

Im wondering if anyone has tried them before I splash out

my dad uses them on his bike - says they're v good! Keep meaning to get some for horse! prob not as warm as waterproof trousers though...

They do seem good, I particullary like the HI-Viz ones.

I get too hot schooling in my waterproof full chaps and thought these will keep me dry and not too hot.

I got caught in heavy snow on Saturday, those would have stopped my thighs tuning into ice cubes. Wet Breeches and icy wind..... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Good find. thanks.

Yes I have them--not used them a lot but do keep tops of your legs dry without making you too hot
A bit fiddly to get 'right' but good buy
