Actually friends of mine also travel their three in their L reg Iveco - mine is an L reg merc. They have three all between 15hh and 16hh, light to middleweights. Can't promise but I am sure they will have had it weighed as are very responsible people.
Mine is a merc which is never a light chassis however it has very small and basic living and is an aluminium box....
