I would like to put a bucket of the Zintec EquiSummer Lick http://www.zintec.co.uk/equine_nutrition.html in my horses field as I have noticed recentely that my one horses has been licking/eating the soil. I believe that this lick is a vit and mineral lick and if she is difisent in something she will help herself to it.

I want to know if you think this is a good lick to provide for my horses and if it has a high sugar content? I cant see anything anywhere to make me think that it dos but just want to be sure? and what are your thoughts on this lick?

Their site is rubbish for info! Hate it when we are expected to buy things without knowing what is in them! If your horses need supplementing then I must admit that I prefer to put a multi vit in with a little bit of feed or something, with the licks it's hard to ensure that each horse gets enough, without pigging the whole thing!

I was given a leaflet about the lick which has much more info on it than there website, a bit disapointed with their website really.

But anyway, my horse isnt on any hard feed atm so thats why i thought a lick would be better. And its there as and when she feels the need to have it.
